Cobblestone Farm Spring Fling
Join us on Sunday, May 7 from noon - 4pm for the annual Cobblestone Farm Spring Fling event!
It's a family friendly event that highlights the 19th century farmhouse and grounds as Cobblestone Farm volunteers and staff prepare for spring cleaning and have fun at the same time.
Tours of the wet meadows will be at 12:30, 1:30 and 2:30pm, led by Wet Meadow Team members
Enjoy docent-led museum tours and many demonstrations including cooking on the wood stove, loom weaving, farm tools, cobblestone masonry, gardening, and more!
Have fun with outdoor games including hoops, graces, sack races and croquet.
Stay for storytelling, Gaelic music and even a presentation about the history of cobblestone houses in Ann Arbor as well.
Help with historic spring chores including water hauling, planting seeds, washing clothes, tightening rope beds and re-strawing mattresses.
Last, but not least, welcome back animals in the barn for the day!
If you need to contact anyone with questions about this event, please see the Cobblestone Farm website for more info.
