Every year in March or April, the City of Ann Arbor's Natural Areas Preservation (NAP) conducts a prescribed burn of some of the wet meadows.
On at least a monthly basis through out the spring and summer volunteers get together to help spruce up Buhr Park and the wet meadows.
Generally led by Jeannine, volunteers collect seeds a few times every year from the meadows in the park. These seeds are then used for other local watershed management projects, rain gardens, or passed on within the community.
If you are interested in attending or helping out with any of these, or would like to be notified when something is happening, please contact us at wetmeadow@wetmeadow.org
