This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Buhr Park Childrens Wet Meadow Project! Join us in celebration on Saturday, September 24th. Further details >
Every year in March or April, the City of Ann Arbor's Natural Areas Preservation (NAP) conducts a prescribed burn of some of the wet meadows.
On at least a monthly basis through out the spring and summer volunteers get together to help spruce up Buhr Park and the wet meadows.
Generally led by Jeannine, volunteers collect seeds a few times every year from the meadows in the park. These seeds are then used for other local watershed management projects, rain gardens, or passed on within the community.
